International Woman’s Day

Jackie Puchailo of E.F. Moon Construction Company had the honor of attending a special event at Government House in celebration of International Women’s Day, hosted by the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, the Honorable Anita R. Neville. Carol Paul, Executive Director of the Manitoba Construction Sector Council, graciously invited Jackie to join the occasion.

The event, held ahead of the official March 8th date, highlighted the importance of recognizing women’s contributions across all sectors, including construction. This year also marks a significant milestone, as it has been 50 years since the United Nations officially designated March 8th as International Women’s Day in 1975.
